Website Care Plan Agreement

This Website Care Plan Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions under which Pyxelis will provide ongoing website support and maintenance services (the “Care Plan”) to the Client.

1. Scope of Services

Pyxelis agrees to provide the Client with the following services under the selected Care Plan tier:

Standard Plan May Include:

  • Monthly plugin, theme, and WordPress core updates
  • Security monitoring & malware scans
  • Performance optimization
  • Daily or weekly backups (stored securely off-site)
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Minor content updates (up to 2 hours per month)
  • Priority email support

Premium Plan May Include (in addition to Standard):

  • Increased monthly content/design edits
  • Monthly analytics reports
  • Advanced SEO monitoring
  • eCommerce support (WooCommerce)
  • Staging site for testing updates
  • Emergency support response within 1 hour

Exact features depend on the selected plan. Custom plans may be created based on the Client’s needs.

2. Payment Terms

Care Plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on the selected billing cycle. Payment is due in advance of each service period.

Failure to make payment within 7 days of the due date may result in suspension of services.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide timely access to website hosting, domain registrar, or other credentials as needed
  • Notify Pyxelis of any major changes, updates, or third-party development
  • Avoid making direct edits to the website that could interfere with site stability or maintenance processes

4. Support Requests

Support requests covered by the Care Plan should be submitted via email to [your@email.com]. Tasks beyond the plan scope (e.g., new feature development, complex redesigns) will be quoted separately.

Turnaround time for typical support tickets is [1–2 business days], with priority given to Premium clients.

5. Third-Party Services

The Care Plan may involve third-party tools, themes, or plugins under license. Pyxelis will manage these as part of the plan where possible, but some premium tools may require direct licensing or cost by the Client.

6. Limitations & Exclusions

The Care Plan does not include:

  • Full redesigns or major feature development
  • Custom coding or app integration (unless part of a custom plan)
  • Training sessions (unless included)
  • Hosting services (unless otherwise agreed)

Additional services outside the scope of the Care Plan can be provided at our standard hourly rate of $25 or under a separate agreement.

7. Termination

This Agreement may be canceled by either party with 30 days written notice. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a monthly or annual billing cycle unless otherwise specified.

Pyxelis reserves the right to terminate the Agreement if:

  • Payments are repeatedly late
  • The Client engages in abusive or unethical conduct
  • Site conditions make continued support impractical

8. Liability

Pyxelis will make all reasonable efforts to protect the integrity and security of the Client’s website. However, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue due to site downtime, hacking, or plugin incompatibilities
  • Issues caused by third-party services or hosting providers
  • Damages resulting from actions outside our control

9. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a Care Plan with Pyxelis, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
